The Barrel Society is an exclusive social club focusing on exploring great whisky and other spirits.
We are based in the Greater Toronto Area and are open to like minded people that would like to experience the wide world of whisky.
Each month we meet at a fine dining establishment to share at least three exclusive and hard to find drinks.
Collectively we explore Scotch, American, Irish, Canadian, and other world whiskies, along with the occasional dabble into Cognac and other fine spirits.
Our experienced hosts guide you through a rich tasting experience, including the appearance, the nose, the palate, and the finish of the given dram.
In addition to tasting the spirit, we engage in an informative group discussion of each spirit. Be prepared to both learn and share your own knowledge with the group.
The events are a fun way to enjoy a friendly and productive social atmosphere and are a great opportunity to network with peers.
Memberships are available at a cost of $100 per annum and entitle the member to a discount on tasting events as well as some other perks. Non-member guests are also welcome.
